NEW YORK (Web Desk): Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried has teased fans about the possibility of Mamma Mia 3, suggesting that the long-awaited sequel may be in development.

Speaking during an interview at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Gala on April 16, Seyfried shared that the project remains a personal priority and is “very much” on her mind.

“It’s just interesting that … it’ll happen. I know it’s going to happen. If there’s a need, you know,” she said, hinting at confidence behind the scenes despite the lack of an official announcement.

While the film has not yet received a formal green light, producer Judy Craymer has previously confirmed that a script is already completed, adding that the team has a clear direction for the next installment.

Seyfried also revealed that her Octet co-stars have expressed interest in joining the project, sharing ideas for potential scenes, including dance sequences. She described the enthusiasm as “great” and reminiscent of childhood creativity.

As for reprising her role as Sophie in the beloved musical franchise Mamma Mia!, Seyfried made her stance clear, stating earlier this year that she is eager to return and would be disappointed if not included.

The Mamma Mia series, known for its music-driven storytelling and global fan base, has long sparked speculation about a third film, though no official release date or production timeline has been announced.
