Recalling her experience on set, the actress described the atmosphere as both challenging and exciting, particularly because the film revolves around a zombie outbreak. She said seeing actors arrive in elaborate zombie makeup and costumes added to the thrill of the production.

Mehwish also revealed that many scenes required extensive special effects makeup, with cast members often covered in fake blood as part of the film’s action-packed sequences.

While acknowledging the demanding nature of the shoot, she said the experience was equally enjoyable and expressed confidence that the hard work invested by the team would pay off when the film reaches audiences.

Zombied is being promoted as one of Pakistan’s first major zombie horror-thriller films and features Fahad Mustafa alongside Mehwish Hayat in leading roles.

Following the interview, fans took to social media to praise the actress’s dedication and expressed enthusiasm for the film. Many viewers welcomed the project as a fresh addition to Pakistani cinema, noting that horror and zombie-themed productions remain relatively rare in the local industry.
