Saife Hassan Praises Sajal Aly’s Professional Work Approach

ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Acclaimed Pakistani director Saife Hassan has revealed that he prefers working with actors who prioritise their craft over on-set comfort, while praising actress Sajal Aly for her professionalism and dedication to her work.

Speaking during a recent interview, Saife discussed the increasing emphasis some artists place on facilities such as vanity vans and separate rooms while working on film and drama sets.

He said he was not interested in working with people whose primary concern was their personal comfort rather than the work itself.

“People who give importance to their comfort come to the set and ask about a vanity van or a separate room. I don’t want to work with such people,” the director remarked.

Saife clarified that he understands artists have basic needs and, in his capacity as a producer, ensures that necessary facilities are provided. However, he said he values performers who remain more focused on their craft.

Referring specifically to Sajal Aly, he said, “I gave Sajal whatever facilities I could, and she stays gracefully and works.”

The director added that while he takes responsibility for providing appropriate arrangements, his preference is for artists whose attention remains firmly on their work rather than their comfort.

Saife further stressed his commitment to quality, saying he is prepared to make whatever effort is necessary to ensure the work is done properly.

His comments have brought renewed attention to Sajal Aly’s professional reputation, with fans praising her for what they described as a grounded and dedicated approach to her craft.
