Marka-e-Haq Anniversary: Tarar Declares Pakistan’s Win

How the Marka-e-Haq Anniversary Marks Pakistan's Triumph in the Battle of Truth

FM Attaullah Tarar – (Web Desk) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar spoke with confidence at a seminar marking the Marka-e-Haq Anniversary. He said Pakistan has grown into a serious and respected power on the world stage. This transformation, he added, did not happen by chance. It came from unity, clarity, and a firm commitment to truth.

The seminar brought together government officials, diplomats, journalists, and civil society members. Everyone gathered to reflect on a defining moment in Pakistan’s recent history.

When India tried to silence Pakistan by banning its YouTube channels, Pakistan did not respond with bans. Instead, Pakistan’s digital teams used geo-tagging to push patriotic content and visuals of JF-17 Thunder jets directly to audiences inside India. This forced ordinary Indians to question what their own government was telling them.

Tarar recalled how he personally led a delegation of local and foreign journalists to Baila Noor Shah in Azad Kashmir. India had claimed the area was home to terrorist camps. What the journalists found was a public school, some shepherds, and quiet village life. Nothing more. The delegation later visited Muridke and Bahawalpur, where India had made similar false claims. On that very night, India launched its attack.

According to the minister, India’s entire basis for aggression after the Pahalgam incident was built on fiction. He pointed out that the FIR related to the Pahalgam episode was registered within just ten minutes of the incident. He also questioned how so-called terrorists could travel 100 kilometres deep into Indian territory without being detected.

Tarar was firm in his words. He said India has a long history of conducting false flag operations to justify aggression against Pakistan. He also pointed to India’s involvement in transnational killings in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom as evidence of a dangerous ideology.

Pakistan, on the other hand, has paid the heaviest price in the global fight against terrorism. No other country has a higher officer-to-soldier casualty ratio. Pakistani officers lead from the front. The economic losses from decades of fighting terrorism run into billions of dollars.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s early call for an independent and impartial inquiry into the Pahalgam incident gave Pakistan a strong edge in the narrative battle. One year later, India still has no credible answer to that demand.

The minister also praised Pakistan’s Gen Z. Young Pakistanis responded to Indian media through creativity and humour on social media. Their content caught the attention of the entire Indian media landscape and helped shift the global conversation.

Tarar concluded by reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment. The fight in the information space is not over. Pakistan will continue to present facts, expose propaganda, and defend its narrative with honesty and purpose.
