Kuwait City: (Web Desk) – The official gazette Kuwait Al Youm has published Cabinet Resolution No. 2026/200, under which Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked for four individuals along with their dependents.
According to reports, the decision was taken under the provisions of the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law (Emiri Decree No. 15/1959). The law allows authorities to cancel citizenship if it is proven that it was obtained through fraud, false statements, or forged documentation.
In a separate administrative development, Decree No. 59/2026 has also been issued, declaring the 2007 establishment of the Government Performance Monitoring Agency (GPMA) null and void.

Under the new arrangement, all responsibilities previously handled by the GPMA have been transferred to the General Secretariat of the Cabinet. The cabinet has also been granted authority to assign these duties to other public institutions as needed.
As part of the restructuring, permanent employees of the agency will be absorbed into the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and reassigned to various government departments while retaining their existing grades and salaries.
However, the decree has terminated the services of all temporary and contract-based employees of the agency with immediate effect, marking a significant overhaul of the institution’s workforce structure.
