PESHAWAR: (Web Desk) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Education has suspended 17 teachers from various examination halls for 120 days following allegations of leaking multiple-choice questions (MCQs) during ongoing matriculation exams, according to 24NewsHD.

The Chairman of BISE Peshawar confirmed that the suspensions were carried out in accordance with directives from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to maintain full transparency in the examination process. Swift measures have been initiated to safeguard the integrity of the exams.

The suspended teachers, serving as invigilators or supervisory staff in Peshawar and Charsadda, are under preliminary investigation. An official inquiry has already been launched, and if found guilty, the teachers could face strict disciplinary measures, including possible termination.
