Islamabad Capital Police Crack Down on Crime: 14 Arrested, Weapons and Drugs Seized
Islamabad: In a series of successful operations, Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 14 outlaws, including two wanted members of a notorious snatcher gang, and recovered a significant cache of drugs, weapons, and stolen goods.
Under the strategic directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police intensified its crackdown on criminal elements, aiming to purge the city of crime and ensure the safety of its citizens.
During the operations, the Ramna police team arrested two individuals, Muhammad Afzal and Raz Muhammad, and confiscated 1010 grams of hashish and 310 grams of heroin. Meanwhile, the Golra police team apprehended Qasir Hayat, Saeed Khan, and Sami Ullah, recovering 545 grams of heroin, a 30 bore pistol, and five bottles of liquor.
Additionally, the Industrial Area police team nabbed Munib Akhtar with a 30 bore pistol, while the Sabzi Mandi police team apprehended Amanat Khan with 110 grams of heroin. Furthermore, the Noon police team arrested Muhammad Hanif with a 30 bore pistol, and the Khana police team detained Javed Khan involved in illegal oil selling.
Moreover, the Lohi Bher police team apprehended Abdul Ahad with 525 grams of hashish, and the Phulgran police team arrested Faizan Akhtar and Saif Ullah with 610 grams of heroin and 10 liters of liquor.
In a separate operation, the Khanna police team, utilizing technical and human resources, captured two wanted members of a snatcher gang, Ehsan Abbasi and Bilal Khalil. The police recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, a motorbike, and weapons used in various crimes from their possession.
Cases have been registered against all the arrested individuals, and further investigations are underway.
