Iran Targets US Military Ship Sea of Oman With Command Center
Iran Targets US Navy Ship in Sea of Oman, America Rejects Claim
IRAN vs US – (Web Desk) – Iran claims it targeted a US military ship in the Sea of Oman after the vessel allegedly moved toward Iranian waters and broke navigation rules in the Strait of Hormuz. Washington has firmly denied the claim.
Iran’s navy said the American ship was carrying a command-and-control centre. Iranian officials said their forces acted only after identifying what they called a clear violation of maritime rules by the US vessel.
However, the United States Central Command quickly pushed back. In a post on X, CENTCOM called Iran’s account false and confirmed that all US military aircraft and naval vessels were operating normally without any disruption.
Neither side offered any proof to back up its version of events. The conflicting statements could not be verified by independent sources.
The incident comes at a sensitive time in the Gulf region, where military movements and diplomatic talks are happening side by side. Concerns about regional security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz remain at the centre of ongoing tensions.
