IESCO Recovers Over Rs 6358 Million from Defaulters

IESCO CEO Urges Timely Bill Payment to Avoid Power Interruptions

Islamabad – The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has successfully recovered over Rs 6358.4 million from more than 1.2 million running and defunct electricity defaulters as part of its ongoing recovery campaign. The initiative, aimed at tackling electricity bill defaults, is being carried out across all operation circles of IESCO.

Chief Executive IESCO, Muhammad Naeem Jan, emphasized the importance of timely and full recovery from both private and government consumers. He has made it clear that any negligence or delay in this regard is no longer acceptable. To ensure full compliance, he has directed the Chief Engineer Commercial to engage directly with heads of government institutions to facilitate the payment of outstanding bills.

In his appeal to consumers, Muhammad Naeem Jan urged all electricity users to submit their bills on time in order to avoid potential power supply interruptions and contribute to the smooth functioning of IESCO’s operations. The company continues to prioritize efficient recovery and resolution of outstanding dues.
