Five Indian-Sponsored Terrorists Killed in Bajaur, Major Adeel Zaman Martyred
The operation underscores the ongoing commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to safeguard civilians and maintain law and order in the region.
BAJAUR: Five Indian-sponsored terrorists, referred to as Khawarij, were killed in an operation conducted by Pakistani security forces in Bajaur district, while Major Adeel Zaman was martyred in a fierce exchange of fire, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation, carried out in Khar Bajaur based on actionable intelligence, resulted in the elimination of the terrorists who were reportedly involved in attacks against security forces as well as the killing of civilians. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
The ISPR paid tribute to Major Adeel Zaman, a native of Dera Ismail Khan, who led his soldiers from the front during the operation. “Major Zaman fought bravely and sacrificed his life in the line of duty,” the ISPR said.

Security sources described the slain terrorists as Indian-sponsored elements attempting to destabilize the region, and said their elimination is a significant blow to militant networks operating in Bajaur.
