Federal Board Extends Intermediate Registration Deadline Until October 30, 2026

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has extended the deadline for submitting Intermediate registration returns until October 30, 2026.

The board has issued a revised notification concerning the registration process and instructed all affiliated institutions to ensure that registration returns for eligible students are submitted accurately within the extended timeframe.

Under the revised schedule, affiliated institutions can now submit Intermediate registration returns by October 30 while paying the regular registration fee.

The extension was approved on the directions of Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to facilitate institutions experiencing difficulties with the registration process, particularly those in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The federal minister also took notice of delays affecting the registration of ninth-grade students in Azad Kashmir.

He directed the Federal Board to address the registration-related issues immediately and ordered the reopening of the registration portal for ninth-grade students.

Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said resolving registration problems faced by students remains a priority and directed the relevant authorities to take timely steps to ensure that students are not affected.
