Lahore(Staff Reporter);Secretary Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Farid has categorically denied a news report attributed to Additional Secretary (Shrines) Rana Shahid Saleem, terming it “baseless” and “full of lies.”
Farid clarified that Rana Shahid’s three-year appointment period had ended as per departmental policy, during which he rendered exceptional services, including:
– Initiating construction of 100 rooms for pilgrims in various shrines
– Supervising renovation and security of minority worship places in Lahore and Pakistan
– Facilitating hospitality for Sikh and Hindu pilgrims worldwide, promoting religious tourism
Farid’s statement aims to set the record straight and acknowledge Rana Shahid’s contributions during his tenure.
