Eight People Found Dead in Different Lahore Areas Saturday Morning

LAHORE: (News Desk) — Eight people were found dead in different parts of Lahore on Saturday morning, with police and other investigative authorities launching inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

According to an Edhi Foundation spokesperson, the body of an 18-year-old girl was recovered from the Khokhar Road area of Badami Bagh. Police said she had reportedly died by suicide.

In another incident, a 35-year-old woman identified as Javaria was found dead in the Sattokatla area near Wapda Town. According to initial information, she had reportedly consumed poisonous tablets.

An Edhi Foundation spokesperson said the body of a 40-year-old labourer, Hassan, was also recovered from Badami Bagh. He reportedly died after falling from a roof while working at an industrial site.

Meanwhile, a 70-year-old man was found dead near a bus stand in Lahore’s Sherakot area. Initial information indicated that he may have died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The body of another 40-year-old man was recovered from the Kot Mohammad Hussain area of Chung. The deceased was reportedly a drug user.

Edhi Foundation teams also recovered the body of a 25-year-old unidentified man near the Shadman Underpass. According to initial information, he reportedly died following excessive intoxication.

Another unidentified man, aged around 45, was found dead near Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Multan Road. Initial reports suggested that excessive intoxication may have contributed to his death.

Police and other investigative agencies have collected evidence from the relevant locations and are examining the incidents from different angles to determine the exact causes of death.

The bodies were subsequently transported to the mortuary in Edhi ambulances for further legal and medical procedures.
