Bangladesh Gain Strong Advantage After Pakistan Batting Failure
Babar Azam’s Fighting Knock Fails To Prevent Pakistan Collapse In Sylhet
Dhaka: (Web Desk) – Pakistan national cricket team endured another disappointing batting performance in the Sylhet Test against Bangladesh national cricket team on Sunday, getting bowled out for 232 runs in their first innings and conceding a valuable 46-run lead to the hosts.
According to reports, Pakistan resumed the second day at 21 without loss but failed to capitalise as wickets continued to fall at regular intervals against a disciplined Bangladeshi bowling attack.
Babar Azam was the standout performer for Pakistan with a determined knock of 68 runs, while Shan Masood and Salman Ali Agha added 21 runs each.

Earlier, Bangladesh had posted 278 runs in their first innings before dismissing Pakistan for 232 to gain a crucial first-innings advantage.
The Bangladeshi bowlers kept sustained pressure on Pakistan’s batting line-up throughout the innings, not allowing the middle and lower order to recover after early breakthroughs.
With a 46-run lead in hand, Bangladesh have strengthened their position in the Test match as play continues in Sylhet.
