Bahrain reopens airspace following US-Iran ceasefire agreement
Bahrain and Iraq reopen their skies as Iran and the US agree on a two week ceasefire to stop the growing war in the Middle East.
Bahrain – (Web Desk) – Bahrain has reopened its airspace. This comes after Iran and the United States agreed on a two-week ceasefire. The airspace had been shut down since the Middle East war began.
Iraq also made the same move earlier in the day.
Bahrain’s civil aviation authority made the announcement officially. The airport near the capital Manama is now slowly bringing flights back. The team there is working to make sure everything runs smoothly. They are also making sure all travellers stay safe throughout the process.
Gulf nations have borne the brunt of Iran’s retaliatory attacks since the United States and Israel launched strikes in late February that ignited a regional war.
