AJK Election Results: PML-N Wins LA-27, PPP Secures LA-28 Seat

Unofficial Results Declare PML-N, PPP Victorious in Two AJK Constituencies

Muzaffarabad: (Staff Reporter) – The complete unofficial results for Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly constituencies LA-27 and LA-28 have been announced, with the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) securing one seat each.

According to unofficial results from LA-27 Muzaffarabad-1, PML-N candidate Nooreen Arif won a closely contested race by securing 18,919 votes. Utsaqat Pakistan Party (PPP) candidate Sardar Tabarak Ali finished second with 18,621 votes.

In LA-28 Muzaffarabad, PPP candidate Bazal Ali Naqvi emerged victorious after polling 28,170 votes, while PML-N’s Chaudhry Shahzad secured 26,864 votes to finish as the runner-up.

Earlier, in the second phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections, PML-N won 14 seats while the PPP secured five seats, according to unofficial results.

The Election Commission had postponed polling in LA-27 due to adverse weather conditions. In LA-28, voting at some polling stations was delayed after election materials could not be delivered on time.
