LAHORE: The leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is attempting to create controversy regarding the election results. They stated that while PTI accepts victories, it stirs up allegations of fraud in areas where it faces defeat.
According to details, PML-N leaders Ata Tarar, Muhammad Ahmad, and Azma Bukhari addressed a joint press conference. Ata Tarar, addressing the conference, stated that the upcoming period belongs to the Muslim League-N. He expressed concerns over the misuse of social media by their opponents to create resentment among the public. He emphasized that resorting to baseless allegations will not lead to a fruitful end. Instead, they are prepared to face their opponents firmly, and victory will soon be theirs.
Tarar mentioned his personal experience in a previous election where he contested against a party chairman. He highlighted that his votes were directly proportional to the chairman’s presence, indicating that there was no influence beyond that. He criticized the opponent, stating that they have been taught nothing but hatred, while their deceptive and fraudulent tactics have led to their defeat.

On this occasion, Malik Ahmad Khan stated that they have not learned any lesson from May 9, referring to past incidents of conspiracies against Pakistan and its armed forces. He highlighted the ongoing propaganda being spread from abroad to destabilize the country once again. He reiterated that the history of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf shows their reluctance to accept election results when they are in government, resorting to the worst kind of deceit. He cited examples of previous instances where PTI had stirred controversies, such as the Omar Ata Bandial case during the 35 punctures issue, indicating a pattern of behavior.
