ETPB Recovers 622 hectors land of Rs. 1329 Millions worth
The illegal occupiers had unlawfully held the department’s land without payment.
LAHORE: Acting on the explicit instructions of Chairman Arshad Fareed of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, the department launched a potent operation and reclaimed agricultural lands worth Rs. 1329 millions from illegal occupants.
Chairman Arshad Farid’s directives led Secretary Farid Iqbal and a team including Administrator Mazhar Bukhari, Deputy Administrator Taj Muhammad Khan, and FIA Director Saqib Sultan, under the leadership of Makhdoom Owais Safdar, to Pakpattan Sharif. In Mauza Mahant Darshan Tehsil, District Pakpattan Sharif, the team successfully recovered 622 acres of abandoned waqf agricultural land, valued at over 1329 million rupees.
For a quarter of a century, the illegal occupiers had unlawfully held the department’s land without payment. Secretary Farid Iqbal stated that nationwide actions against illegal occupants, guided by Chairman Arshad Farid’s directives, are underway. He affirmed the determination to put an end to all illegal occupations and emphasized the implementation of legal measures. Iqbal warned that those supporting the occupation mafia would face severe consequences.

Looking ahead to the new year, he promised even more intense and expedited actions against such activities.
