IESCO’s recovery campaign ensures uninterrupted power supply & system upgradation

ISLAMABAD: In a commitment to providing uninterrupted power supply and advancing system upgradation projects for enhanced customer services, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has undertaken a robust recovery campaign, yielding impressive results.
According to a statement by Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan, the Chief Executive Officer of IESCO, the recovery campaign, initiated on September 7, 2023, has seen remarkable collaboration between IESCO recovery teams, law enforcement, and district administration. During this ongoing campaign, IESCO has successfully recovered a staggering amount of 657.89 million from 47,375 running defaulters, 504.02 million from 17,255 deceased defaulters, totaling an overall recovery of 1,660.87 million from 67,281 consumers.
Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan emphasized the critical role of timely bill payments not only in ensuring uninterrupted power supply to valued customers but also in facilitating the completion of system upgradation projects. He highlighted that the dues collection campaign will persist without interruption, reinforcing IESCO’s commitment to quality services.

The CEO praised the exceptional performance of the recovery teams and called upon consumers to fulfill their national and moral responsibility by paying electricity bills promptly. In cases of non-receipt of electricity bills, customers are encouraged to obtain duplicate bills conveniently from the IESCO website (www.iesco.com.pk), the respective Sub-Divisional Office (SDO), or nearby Customer Service Centers.
This proactive approach by IESCO not only ensures financial sustainability but also contributes to the overall improvement of the power distribution infrastructure, ultimately benefiting consumers with reliable and uninterrupted electricity services.
