LPG price hike domestic cylinder up by Rs45
The price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) has witnessed a surge, with an increment of Rs3.82 per kilogram on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the new LPG rate has been set at Rs254.86 per kg, reflecting an increase in the cost of this essential household fuel.
As a consequence of the hike, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder has risen by Rs45, reaching a new fixed price of Rs3,077. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has officially released the LPG price notification for December, impacting consumers across the country.
On the other hand, the LPG Association has also decided to raise the price of commercial cylinders, amounting to a total increase of Rs 174. The new rate for commercial cylinder is now fixed at Rs 255 per kilogram.
The LPG Association has indicated that in December, commercial cylinders will be available for Rs 11,571, reflecting a significant jump from the previous month when the price was set at Rs 251.
