Supreme Court fixed contempt of court plea against Imran Khan

Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) The Supreme Court of Pakistan fixed a contempt of court plea filed by the interior ministry against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo Imran Khan.

Furthermore the interior ministry in a petition stated that Imran Khan was giving statements to attack Islamabad through the long march.

On this, the apex court formed a five-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial comprising Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Yaha Afridi, and Justice Sayyed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, and the hearing will be held on October 20.

Moreover in this regard, notices have also been issued to the relevant parties regarding the appearance on Thursday, October 20.
