Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) Federal government has decided that Ishaq Dar will assume charge as Finance Minister in next week.
According to details, Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting to discuss matters of mutual interest and another meeting will be held today to further finalize the party’s strategies.
Furthermore Ishaq Dar could return to Islamabad with Shehbaz Sharif; however, final decision will be taken by senior party leadership. The party leadership will also deliberate on return of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan.
Earlier, an accountability court on Friday suspended the permanent arrest warrants of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and ordered not to arrest him when the politician comes back to Pakistan.
The court while giving Dar an opportunity to surrender, suspended Ishaq Dar’s permanent arrest warrants.
