US Offers $20m to Uncover Iran’s Nuclear Programme Trump Called Obliterated

Washington seeks details on Iran’s nuclear sites, equipment and scientists, even as Trump insists the programme has already been destroyed.

US vs IRAN – (Special Correspondent/Web Desk) – The US offers $20m, plus possible relocation, to anyone who can share information about Iran’s nuclear programme. The US military announced the offer on Friday.

The reward covers nuclear facilities, equipment and the people linked to them. The State Department is especially interested in details about Iran’s scientific community.

It also wants to know about any movement of these sites, items or people.

US Central Command shared the news on X. It said the reward comes through the Rewards for Justice programme.

The programme began in 1984 under the State Department. Its goal is to pay people for information that helps protect American lives and interests.

In its notice, the State Department blamed Iran for failing to follow the rules of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). As a result, the agency lost track of Iran’s production and stock of key parts, including centrifuges.

The notice also pointed to the IAEA’s 2025 reports. They said Iran was enriching uranium to 60% purity. That is close to the 90% level normally linked to weapons.

The notice said Iran is the only country without nuclear weapons to reach such a high level. It added that experts believe the stock could be enough for several weapons if enriched further.

The US did not say what kind of information would earn the full $20m.

The offer sounds odd next to President Donald Trump’s words. He has said many times that American strikes have wiped out Iran’s nuclear programme.

Speaking in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday night, Trump said Iran would have used nuclear weapons if it had them. He claimed they would have destroyed the Middle East.

He also said eight months of war had badly hurt Iran’s economy and military. In his view, Tehran now wants a deal “very badly.”

Regional mediators are still working to stop the fighting from starting again. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Tuesday that his government still wants to solve the crisis through talks.

Earlier this week, Trump said the US still had to “take care” of one or two targets in Iran. One of them is Pickaxe Mountain in the centre of the country. Some believe it is a nuclear site, but Tehran says it is not.
