Aleema Khan arrested in Lahore as Imran Khan undergoes checkup
LAHORE (Staff Reporter): Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has reportedly been arrested in Lahore, according to sources.
Sources said police took Aleema Khan into custody in Lahore. Further details regarding the circumstances surrounding her arrest were not immediately available.
Meanwhile, the medical examination of Imran Khan at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail has been completed.
Jail sources said the special medical team that visited the prison has now left the facility after conducting the examination.
The team was headed by Dr Arif Khan from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). It included an ophthalmologist from PIMS along with other medical professionals and paramedical staff.
The medical team also brought the equipment required to conduct the former prime minister’s medical assessment.
