Glasgow Racist Assault Pakistani Student Left With Facial Fractures

London – (Special Correspondent/Web Desk) – A Pakistani student was left with serious facial injuries after a Glasgow racist assault Pakistani community members say has shaken their sense of safety in the city. Musadiq Ismail, who moved to the UK in September 2025 to study International Financial Management at Middlesex University, said he was walking home around 3:30am on Sunday when a stranger began following him and shouting.

Ismail said the man told him he did not deserve to be in the country and should go back home, before pushing him several times. He tried to avoid a confrontation and kept walking, but pushed back only after being shoved repeatedly. The attacker then punched him, leaving his nose bleeding heavily and his clothes soaked in blood.

He reported the incident to police hours later and was told to go to hospital, where a CT scan confirmed facial fractures. Ismail returned to the police station the next day to give further details, and the case is now logged under a formal crime reference number.

Speaking to Geo News, Ismail said he is still in pain and remains fearful, adding he never expected such violence in the UK. He has urged police to treat the case seriously and find the attacker quickly. The investigation is ongoing, and no suspect has been identified yet.
