Main Suspect Arrested in TikToker Shamsu Bibi Murder Case

Taxila: (Showbiz Desk) – Police have arrested the main suspect allegedly involved in the murder of TikToker Shamsu Bibi, a 28-year-old social media influencer, in Taxila.

According to police sources, suspect Kashif allegedly called Shamsu out of her home shortly before the incident. Police have also detained four other suspects, while raids are underway to arrest two more suspects, identified as Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen.

Shamsu, who had around 1.3 million followers on social media, was shot dead on August 14. Her 15-year-old sister was also seriously injured in the attack.
According to the FIR registered on the complaint of Shamsu’s father, Fazal, she was travelling in a vehicle with her younger sister Asmiya Bibi and brother Nematullah when motorcycle-borne attackers opened fire on them.

Shamsu sustained critical bullet injuries as the vehicle went out of control and crashed.

She died inside the vehicle, while her injured sister was shifted to PIMS Islamabad for treatment.

The victim’s father told police that Shamsu had been active on TikTok for the past three to four years. He further alleged that she had financial dealings with Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen and had received threats from them.

Police are continuing their investigation to determine the motive behind the killing and establish the role of all suspects.
