Suniel Shetty Reacts to Reported Assassination Attempt on Tiger Shroff

MUMBAI: (Showbiz Desk) –  Senior Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has expressed concern over the reported assassination attempt on actor Tiger Shroff, saying such an incident should never have happened.

According to Indian media reports, Shetty spoke to journalists about the incident and said Tiger Shroff and his father, veteran actor Jackie Shroff, were widely respected. He added that if something like this could happen to them, no one could be considered completely safe.

Shetty described Tiger as a dedicated fitness enthusiast with a strong interest in sports and expressed disbelief over the incident.

“I don’t know how this happened, but it shouldn’t have,” the actor said, expressing concern over the shooting.

Recalling his long-standing friendship with Jackie Shroff, Shetty said they had known each other since childhood and hoped the situation would resolve favourably. He also expressed relief that Tiger had escaped unharmed, while his driver, who was injured in the incident, was recovering.

According to reports, gunfire targeted a vehicle associated with Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area two days earlier, as the actor was leaving after playing a football match.

Tiger escaped without injuries, while two people, including his driver, reportedly sustained injuries in the shooting.

Police have reportedly arrested suspects in connection with the alleged assassination attempt. Further details about the investigation and the motive behind the attack were not provided in the supplied report.
