Nine Terrorists Killed During Intelligence-Based Operations Across Balochistan
RAWALPINDI:(Special Reporter) – More than nine terrorists have reportedly been killed during intelligence-based operations in different parts of Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, according to security sources.
Security forces carried out intelligence-based operations in Ziarat, Harnai and Sorab after receiving information about the presence and movement of suspected terrorists in the areas.
According to the sources, a major operation was conducted in the mountainous region between Ziarat and Harnai. Security personnel reportedly surrounded suspected hideouts and launched an operation, killing eight terrorists and destroying their positions.
In another operation in Sorab district, security forces reportedly tracked the movement of terrorists between Dasht-e-Katai and Hajika. One terrorist was killed during an operation in Hajika village, the sources said.
Security personnel recovered ammunition, magazines, grenades, walkie-talkies, motorcycles and other equipment from the areas following the operations.
The security forces have reiterated their determination to continue intelligence-based operations against militant groups until terrorism is eliminated and sustainable peace is established.
The claims regarding the number of casualties and recovered equipment were attributed to security sources and were not independently verified.
