Three Killed, Seven Injured In Swat Ravine Crash

SWAT: (Our Correspondent) – At least three people, including a woman, were killed and seven others seriously injured after a car plunged into a ravine in Swat on Friday, reportedly following brake failure.

The accident took place in the Manglore Shaldara area, where the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle before it veered off the road and fell into the ravine.

According to local sources, 10 people, including women and children, were travelling in the car when the accident occurred.

After receiving information about the crash, a Rescue 1122 team reached the site and launched an emergency operation.

Four critically injured people were taken to Central Hospital in Saidu Sharif for medical treatment, while three children were shifted to Manglore Hospital.

The identities of the deceased and injured were not immediately available.

The latest incident adds to a series of fatal road accidents reported in Swat this year.

Three Killed In Earlier Swat Collision

In June 2026, three people were killed when a passenger bus collided with a car in the Gogdara area of Swat district.

Police said the three victims were travelling in the car and died as a result of the collision. Authorities attributed the earlier crash to overspeeding.

The bodies were subsequently shifted to Saidu Hospital for necessary legal and medical procedures.
