Bushra Ansari Clarifies Remarks Amid Syra Yousuf Rumours

ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has clarified recent speculation surrounding remarks she made during a podcast, stressing that the story she shared was not related to actors Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousuf.

In a recent vlog, Bushra explained that the incident discussed during the podcast involved some of her friends working in the banking sector and had no connection to the entertainment industry.

The actress expressed disappointment over media pages linking her comments to Syra and Shahroz and using their names and photographs while reporting on the matter.

Bushra spoke highly of Syra Yousuf, describing her as a “decent girl” and making it clear that the situation she had discussed did not concern the actress.

She questioned the tendency of some media platforms to turn general conversations into sensational stories in pursuit of views, clicks and public attention.

The veteran actress also said she would never make negative comments about her close friends or their families. She criticised what she described as unnecessary “fasad” created by certain media outlets by attaching unrelated names to her remarks.

Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari tied the knot in 2012 and share a daughter, Nooreh. The couple separated in 2020 but have reportedly maintained an amicable relationship while continuing to co-parent their daughter.
