Kubra Khan Bids Emotional Farewell to Dr Bahu

Karachi: (Showbiz Desk) – Pakistani actress Kubra Khan left fans emotional after bidding a heartfelt farewell to her beloved character, Dr. Sania, following the conclusion of the hit drama serial Dr Bahu.

Sharing an emotional video on Instagram, Kubra posted a montage featuring memorable moments from the drama’s set, including behind-the-scenes clips, bloopers, and candid interactions with co-stars Shuja Asad, Hajra Yamin, Saba Hamid, Marina Khan, Shahzad Nawaz, Adeel Hussain, and others.

Adding a personal touch, Kubra recorded a heartfelt voice-over for the video, introducing herself by saying, “Hello everyone, I’m Dr. Sania… actually no, I’m your Kubra.”

She revealed that she had initially planned to use a song but decided to speak directly to fans, explaining that no music could truly express her emotions. She also referenced Elton John’s Your Song, saying its lyrics reflected how she felt about the project.

Looking back on the experience, Kubra described Dr Bahu as much more than just another television drama. She said the cast and crew became like a family, creating a warm, supportive environment that made every day on set memorable.

“We even laughed during emotional scenes,” she recalled, adding that the nine-month journey passed by in what felt like no time.

Thanking her fellow actors and the production team, Kubra admitted she may never find another set quite like this but said the memories would stay with her forever.

The emotional farewell resonated with fans, who flooded the comments section with messages of appreciation for her portrayal of Dr. Sania and praised the close bond shared by the cast. Many also expressed hope of seeing the team reunite in a future project.
