PCNF Lahore Heroin Seizure: 24kg Drugs and Seven Drones Recovered in Major Crackdown

LAHORE – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – In a major breakthrough, the PCNF Lahore heroin seizure has once again put the spotlight on Punjab’s growing fight against drug trafficking. Officials say the operation led to the recovery of a huge quantity of heroin along with modern equipment used by smugglers.

The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (PCNF) carried out this action in the Batapur area of Lahore. Two accused were arrested during the raid, including a woman who was allegedly part of the network.

Officials shared that the case involves heroin seized Lahore Diyal village, where the team acted on solid intelligence reports. During the raid, 24 kilograms of heroin were recovered, along with seven drones believed to be used for smuggling purposes.

PCNF Director-General Brigadier Mazhar Iqbal confirmed the details of the operation. He said the raid was carried out after weeks of careful monitoring and tracking of suspicious activity in the area.

According to the officials, the seized heroin holds a market value of nearly Rs36 million internationally. This shows how large and organised the network truly was.

Along with the drugs, officers also found a serious stockpile of weapons. This included an SMG rifle with six magazines and 377 bullets, one M4 rifle, three MM rifles, and twenty pistols.

Investigators believe the group was not just involved in drug supply but was also linked to arms distribution. Officials suspect a wider network operating quietly for a long time.

More troubling was the discovery that the gang was supplying drugs to residential areas and even educational institutions in Lahore. This raised concerns among parents and local residents about the safety of students.

ANF Drug Recovery News: Nationwide Crackdown Continues

Alongside the Lahore action, fresh ANF drug recovery news has surfaced from different cities across Pakistan. The Anti-Narcotics Force carried out six separate operations, recovering more than 88 kilograms of narcotics.

Officials said the total value of these recovered drugs stands above Rs12.9 million. Ten suspects were arrested during these combined operations nationwide.

In Rawalpindi, ANF officials stopped two motorcyclists near a school on Adiala Road. The team recovered 1.2 kilograms of hashish, and the suspects reportedly admitted to selling drugs to students.

At Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, officers found 2.2 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ice, hidden inside a cloth parcel.

Another parcel, this time heading to New Zealand from Rawalpindi, was intercepted with 1.2 kilograms of ice concealed inside.

In Peshawar, a team seized 38.4 kilograms of hashish near Ring Road and arrested two people connected to the shipment.

Officials in Mansehra also recovered 7.2 kilograms of charas from a vehicle near Bidra Interchange, resulting in another arrest.

A separate discovery in Peshawar revealed 2.5 kilograms of ice hidden inside a mini electric oven at a courier office on Nasir Bagh Road.

Cases have now been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act, 1997, and investigations are ongoing in all these incidents.

Authorities say these back-to-back operations show a renewed push to protect communities, especially students, from the growing threat of drug abuse across Pakistan.
