Operation Shaaban: A Final Message to Terrorists

History presents moments when nations must decide whether they will surrender to fear or stand firm in defense of their future with unwavering resolve. Pakistan is passing through such a defining moment today. On one side are those whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent civilians, children, women, the elderly, and our brave security personnel. On the other stands a state that has pledged never to compromise on Pakistan’s peace, sovereignty, and national dignity.

The terrorist attack on the Mangi Dam Police Station in Ziarat is yet another painful reminder that terrorists seek not only to take lives but also to break the spirit of nations. What they fail to understand, however, is that Pakistan’s history is not one of surrender it is a history of resilience. Every martyr’s funeral strengthens the nation’s resolve, every sacrifice frustrates the enemy’s designs, and every attack only makes Pakistan emerge stronger than before.

Operation Shaaban is the practical manifestation of this unbreakable national resolve. It is not merely a military operation; it is the State of Pakistan’s unequivocal declaration that there will no longer be any space on this land for those who spread terror, bloodshed, and challenge the writ of the state. Pakistan seeks peace but a peace founded upon the rule of law, constitutional supremacy, and a strong state, not one imposed at the barrel of a gun.

Today, Pakistan’s Armed Forces, the Frontier Corps, the Balochistan Police, and other law enforcement agencies stand on the front line in defense of the homeland. Their determination is reinforced by the confidence of the nation, while the sacrifices of our martyrs continue to inspire their courage. The nation pays tribute to every martyr whose ultimate sacrifice has kept Pakistan’s flag flying high.

It is equally important to recognize that terrorism is sustained not only by bullets and explosives. It also depends on financial support, facilitators, extremist narratives, and various enabling networks. Eliminating these sources through the rule of law remains essential. Pakistan has repeatedly maintained that certain terrorist groups have received support and sanctuary from across the border, and that addressing this challenge effectively requires responsible regional cooperation and constructive international engagement.

This is not the time to deepen divisions but to strengthen national unity. Terrorists suffer their greatest defeat when an entire nation stands united behind the state. When citizens reject disinformation, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, and place the national interest above all political or personal considerations, the foundations of terrorism begin to crumble.

Let the terrorists hear this clearly: This is Pakistan a nation founded upon immense sacrifice, protected by thousands of brave men and women who have laid down their lives, and defended by millions of citizens prepared to face every challenge for its survival. Your bullets cannot wound our resolve. Your explosions cannot shake our determination. Your cowardly attacks cannot force this nation to surrender. Every act of terror will be answered through the strength of the law, the authority of the state, and the unity of the Pakistani people.

Operation Shaaban is, in essence, a declaration a declaration of resistance, steadfastness, and ultimate victory. It sends a clear message to terrorists that Pakistan will not merely defend itself; it will pursue every enemy of peace through lawful means with unwavering determination. There will be no compromise on the writ of the state, and no safe haven will remain for those who threaten the peace of our homeland.

Let us renew our pledge of loyalty to the blood of our martyrs. Let us stand firmly behind our security institutions, strengthen our national unity, and reject every voice that seeks to weaken the country’s collective resolve against terrorism. For when a nation stands united, the state remains strong, and its institutions remain resolute, every conspiracy of terrorism is destined to fail.

Pakistan’s flag will always fly high. The writ of the state will always prevail. And the darkness of terrorism will forever be defeated by the unwavering resolve of this nation.
