LAHORE: (Staff Reporter) – A father allegedly attempted to take his own life by jumping from the third floor of Lahore’s Children’s Hospital after being denied access to meet his admitted daughter.
According to reports, the man, identified as Imran, had gone to the hospital to visit his daughter, who was under treatment at the facility. However, security personnel reportedly stopped him from entering and forcibly escorted him outside.
Distressed over the incident and the alleged behaviour of the security staff, Imran reportedly jumped from the hospital’s third floor.
He sustained a fractured leg and was immediately shifted to Lahore General Hospital for medical treatment. His condition is being monitored by doctors.
Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
