Diljit Dosanjh Says Politics Is Keeping Him Away From Lahore
The singer said he prefers to remain away from political matters
LAHORE: ( Web Desk) – Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has expressed his desire to visit Lahore, saying political circumstances have made such a trip difficult for him at present.
In a video circulating on social media, the Punjabi superstar said he would love to come to Lahore but feared facing problems after returning to India.
“I want to come to Lahore, but if I do, people will create issues for me when I return,” Diljit said. “You all know what is happening in the world. It is all about politics.”
The singer said he prefers to remain away from political matters and does not want to become involved in controversies.
Diljit also reflected on the limits individuals face in bringing about change, saying that many important decisions are beyond the control of the people from whom the public expects solutions.
His remarks drew widespread attention online, with fans from Pakistan and India expressing hope that he would one day visit Lahore.
