Rain Forecast for Several Regions Across Pakistan

Met Department Predicts Rainfall in Northern and Central Regions

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rainfall in several parts of the country today, while hot and dry conditions are expected to continue in many regions.

According to the latest weather outlook, a number of districts in Punjab are likely to receive rain, including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, and Lahore. Showers are also expected in Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Layyah.

The PMD further indicated the possibility of rainfall in Mianwali, Kasur, Okara, Jhang, Faisalabad, Khanewal, Multan, and Vehari, providing some relief from the prevailing heat.

Partly Cloudy Weather Continues Across Karachi Today

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are expected to experience hot and dry weather. However, rain is likely in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, and Dera Ismail Khan. Additional rainfall has also been forecast for Khyber, Waziristan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, and Swabi.

Meanwhile, Sindh is expected to remain largely hot and dry throughout the day. In Karachi, temperatures may climb to around 35 degrees Celsius, according to the weather department.

Balochistan is also likely to experience predominantly hot and dry conditions, although isolated rain showers are expected in Barkhan, Sibi, Kohlu, and Zhob.

The Meteorological Department has advised residents in rain-affected areas to stay updated with weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during possible thunderstorms and showers.
