According to Iranian state media, a special committee has been established to oversee arrangements for the funeral ceremony, with multiple government agencies coordinating plans for what officials described as a “grand” national event.

Mohsen Mahmoudi, head of the Tehran Coordination Council for Islamic Propaganda, said preparations are underway to ensure the ceremony is held on a significant scale once an official date is announced.
