Weather Department Predicts Rain In Multiple Cities Across Pakistan Today
ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) The Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall in several parts of Pakistan, with showers expected in different regions during the evening hours.
According to the weather advisory, Islamabad may receive rain at a few locations, while nearby areas including Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Chakwal and Jhelum are also likely to experience rainfall.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain is expected in Peshawar, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Kurram, Kohat and Waziristan.
Several districts of Punjab may also receive showers, including Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Jhang and Okara.
The forecast also indicates chances of rain in parts of Sindh, including Karachi, Thatta, Sanghar, Dadu, Tharparkar, Umerkot and Mirpurkhas.
In Balochistan, rainfall is expected in areas including Awaran, Khuzdar, Kalat and Zhob, while Barkhan, Musakhel and Kohlu may also receive showers.
The department said weather conditions in other parts of the country are expected to remain mostly dry and humid.
