Government Takes a Big Step to Keep Hajj Pilgrims Connected With Their Loved Ones During the Holy Journey

Pakistan – (Web Desk) – The federal government has announced free Saudi SIM cards for all Hajj pilgrims this year.

Each pilgrim going for a 40-day stay in Saudi Arabia will receive:

  • 600 minutes for local and international calls
  • 40 GB of internet data

Pilgrims on a short stay will receive:

  • 300 minutes for local and international calls

Key Points to Know:

  • The SIM card will work for both receiving and making calls
  • Only one SIM card will be issued per passport
  • There will be no charges for this service

This step by the government will help pilgrims stay easily connected with their families back home during their sacred journey.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said that if the consumer will purchase anyone SIM, then the SIM facility will be withdrawn.

The special counters will be established for the Hajj pilgrims for recharging their mobile phones. The package will be recharged if the balance expires.
