Two Siblings Lose Their Lives in a Tragic Lahore House Fire

Two Young Children Perish in DHA Lahore House Fire While Parents Were Nearby

DHA Lahor – (Web Desk) – In a heartbreaking incident, a young brother and sister tragically lost their lives when a devastating fire engulfed their home in Phase-V of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Lahore.

The innocent victims were identified as little Aliza, just three years old, and her five-year-old brother Saad — both children of Ansar. The two siblings were innocently playing together in a servant quarter when the fire suddenly broke out, while their parents were busy working on the lower floor of the house, completely unaware of the unfolding tragedy.

Sadly, despite the swift response of Rescue 1122 teams, both children had already passed away before emergency workers could reach the scene. Rescue 1122 personnel worked hard to bring the blaze under control and successfully extinguished the fire.

This heartbreaking incident comes just days after another destructive fire tore through Lunda Bazaar in Pattoki, where nearly 26 shops were reduced to ashes, leaving many families and shopkeepers in financial ruin.

Bales of shoes, second-hand clothes and other goods were also burnt in the fire.

Soon after receiving the report, a Rescue 1122 team, along with an ambulance and six vehicles, reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

Rescue officials said the fire erupted due to an electrical short-circuit. The officials further said that after extinguishing the fire cooling process was under way.
