The joint drill focused on improving interoperability and deepening maritime collaboration. It featured a five-day harbor phase in Karachi followed by a two-day operational phase in the North Arabian Sea.

As per ISPR, the Chinese warship Daqing received a formal reception by PNS Taimur upon arrival in Karachi.
