AHMEDABAD: (Web Desk) – India national cricket team set a formidable target of 256 runs for New Zealand national cricket team in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup being played in Ahmedabad.
The high-stakes final is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium, where New Zealand captain won the toss and opted to field first against India.

Batting first, India delivered an outstanding performance, posting a massive 255 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. The strong total was powered by impressive innings from Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma, who led the charge with aggressive batting.
India went into the final with an unchanged playing XI. Meanwhile, New Zealand made one adjustment to their lineup, bringing in fast bowler Jacob Duffy in place of Cole McConkie.
New Zealand will now have to chase the challenging target to lift the T20 World Cup trophy.
