Colombo (Web Desk) – : Sahibzada Farhan etched his name into cricket history with an unbeaten century in Pakistan’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 clash against Namibia at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground on Wednesday.
Farhan, who previously had nine T20I fifties to his name, smashed 100 not out off 58 balls, featuring 11 fours and four sixes. His innings helped him join an elite group of batters, becoming only the second Pakistani to score a century in men’s T20 World Cups, alongside Ahmed Shehzad, who made 111* against Bangladesh in 2014.
At 29, Farhan is now the 13th batter overall to achieve a T20 World Cup century, joining legends such as Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Mahela Jayawardene, and Alex Hales.
