Pakistan U19 Announce Squad for England Youth Cricket Series
ISLAMABAD: (Sports Reporter) – Pakistan have announced their Under-19 squad for the upcoming tour of England, with Farhan Yousuf appointed captain. The young side is scheduled to feature in one Youth Test and a four-match ODI series against England Under-19 during September.
The tour will begin with the Youth Test from September 2 to 5, followed by the four-match ODI series, which will be played from September 9 to 16.
Six players are in line to make their Pakistan Under-19 debuts. Wicketkeeper Abdul Qadir, all-rounders Jahangir Bilal, Hayam Khan and Aliyan Salman, batsman Hasnain Abbas Dar, and fast bowler Rizwanullah have earned their first call-ups at this level.
The remaining squad members are Abdul Subhan, Ahmed Hussain, Hamza Zahoor, Muhammad Sayam, Muhammad Huzaifa, Niqab Shafiq, Umar Zeb and Usman Khan.
The Pakistan Under-19 team is scheduled to depart Lahore for England on Sunday, ahead of what promises to be an important development tour for the country’s emerging cricketers.
