PCB to Sell Multan Sultans Before PSL Season

Multan Sultans Franchise to Be Auctioned Ahead of PSL

Islamabad (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to put Multan Sultans up for immediate sale, following rising investor interest in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Sources revealed that after the successful auction of the Hyderabad and Sialkot franchises, several potential buyers have also shown interest in acquiring Multan Sultans.

Unlike previous plans to sell the team next year, the PCB now intends to hold the auction before the upcoming PSL season. An official advertisement for the sale will be released soon, giving qualified bidders the chance to purchase the franchise.

The move comes after Ali Tareen stepped away from Multan Sultans, and the PCB temporarily took over the team’s operations. Officials emphasized that the auction will follow the same procedure as the sales of Sialkot and Hyderabad teams, aiming to strengthen the board financially while ensuring the franchise continues to thrive.
