Russian General Killed in Car Explosion in Moscow

MOSCOW: A Russian general was killed in a car explosion in the capital, Moscow, according to local media reports. The explosion occurred while the general was inside the vehicle, which was reportedly rigged with explosives.

Russian authorities suspect that the blast could be linked to Ukrainian forces, although investigations are ongoing. Officials have immediately begun collecting evidence from the scene.

According to media reports, the deceased general headed the army’s training department. He suffered severe injuries to his legs and face and later died in the hospital.
