Imran Khan Vows to Fight for People’s Freedom, Urges Public to Protest
Imran Khan Urges Public Protests, Supports Prisoners, Especially Women
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan has declared that he will either live with the freedom of the people or be ready for martyrdom. He emphasized that he will not back down even an inch from his stance.
Speaking at a press conference at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja stated that Imran Khan has said all doors of justice have been closed, cases are not being heard in the courts, and judicial access has been blocked.
Reacting to the sentencing of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, Salman Akram Raja said that Imran Khan has called on the public to take to the streets and raise their voices. According to him, the message from Imran Khan is clear: the people now have no option but to protest, fight for their rights, and stand in solidarity with all prisoners, especially women.

Salman Akram Raja added that Imran Khan has urged supporters to start preparing for a street movement, stating that there is no other choice left. He also expressed Imran Khan’s distress over the imprisonment of his wife, Bushra Bibi, who has been jailed simply for being his spouse.
Addressing claims by government spokespersons that Imran Khan was allowed meetings, the PTI leader called these statements completely false. Today, Imran Khan was only able to have a brief meeting with his lawyer Salman Safdar. He further noted that neither Imran Khan nor his lawyers were present when the verdict was announced.
