ISLAMABAD: The UAE Ministry of Education has officially confirmed the mid-term break schedule for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for both public and private schools across the region.
According to an official circular issued by the ministry, students will enjoy a five-day mid-term break starting from Monday, October 13 to Friday, October 17. Regular classes for all grades are scheduled to resume on Monday, October 20.
For teachers and administrative staff, the schedule differs slightly. From October 13 to 15, they will participate in professional development programs, after which they will also observe a mid-term break from October 16 to 19.

The Ministry noted that this announcement is part of efforts to standardize school calendars, streamline academic operations, and ensure a well-structured balance between instructional time and rest periods for both students and education professionals.
The alignment of academic schedules across the UAE is aimed at supporting a consistent and efficient learning environment, the Ministry added.
