Putin warns US against sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Putin says sending long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine would ruin US relations and trigger a major new escalation.

Russian – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a strong warning to the United States. He stated that sending powerful Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine would completely destroy the relationship between their two countries. This comes at a tense time, as Russian forces continue to advance in Ukraine.

Recently, former US President Donald Trump expressed disappointment that Putin has not made peace. He called Russia a “paper tiger” for struggling to win the war. Putin quickly fired back, asking if NATO was the real “paper tiger” for not stopping Russia’s military progress.

The idea of sending these long-range missiles was confirmed by US Vice President JD Vance. He mentioned that Ukraine’s request is being considered. However, a final decision has not yet been made.

Putin explained his position in a video released on Russian state television. He fears that providing these weapons would wipe out any recent positive steps in their diplomatic relations.

Reports also suggest the US is thinking about giving Ukraine information on key energy targets inside Russia. This would help if Ukraine were to receive missiles capable of striking that far.

Despite the discussion, there may be a big problem. According to sources, the US might not have enough Tomahawk missiles to spare. Its current supply is mostly reserved for the US Navy’s own needs.

The Tomahawk missile is a serious weapon with a very long reach. If Ukraine had them, it could potentially target Moscow and many other important locations across Russia.

Putin argues that using these complex missiles requires direct help from American military staff. He sees any transfer as a major escalation, taking the conflict to a dangerous new level. While he admitted the missiles could cause damage, he claimed Russian defences would shoot them down.

President Putin views this war as a turning point in Russia’s history with the West. He feels the West disrespected Russia after the Soviet Union collapsed by expanding NATO.

On the other side, Western leaders and Ukraine see the war as a simple land grab by Russia. They are determined to defeat the invading forces, fearing that if they do not, Putin might one day attack a NATO country—a charge he strongly denies.
