Jaffer Express Passengers Rerouted to Quetta After Track Explosion
Rail traffic was suspended for several hours
Quetta-Train services on the Quetta route remain disrupted after an explosion damaged the railway track between Bakhtiarabad and Damboli, forcing the cancellation of the Jaffer Express. Around 300 passengers were later transported to Quetta via a shuttle train arranged by authorities.

The train, en route from Peshawar, was stopped in Sibi following the blast. Passengers were temporarily housed at the local circuit house by the district administration.
The explosion, targeting the Karachi-bound Bolan Mail, partially damaged coach number seven. No injuries were reported.
Rail traffic was suspended for several hours as security and rescue teams conducted a clearance operation on the affected section.
